The Last Judgement - Part 2
No one knows the questions we blogger will have to answer at the end of our days.
(But this is no unique selling point for us bloggers. The same is true for the fly fishermen and the stamp-collectors.)
Dana Gardner has made some good thougths about ethic and responsibility.
In a recent Gillmor Gang (Backward Gang, last part, which is - for reasons I don't know - part I, btw. the best episode I've heard yet) Dana Gardner and Jason Calacanis had a great discussion about this topic.

Look Back On Web 2.0
After these amazing numbers Google has just announced (see Donna Bogatin at ZDNet) and the power Google shows (see also Donna Bogatin) we all have the hope that we are not longer obliged to memorize those billions of Web-2.0-company. One seems to be enough.
(This is the third part of the implicit series "Web 2.0 Made Easy". See also The New VC Process and Pricing 2.0)
Good Luck Friendster
The Schwartzbox
After announcing the Blackbox (see Jonathan Schwartz' post) the Schwartzbox is just a small suggestion for another product Sun could offer.
It's addressed to CEOs who wants to become as geeky-freaky as Jonathan Schwartz (see an early post from this blog).
Some Minor Vista Restrictions
Ed Bott complains about the fact that the Vista license will allow only one transfer to another computer. Paul Thurrott says this is no restriction because you were never allowed to do arbitrary transfers.
Fast New World
Times are getting faster and faster (see Jonathan Schwartz' post).

Copyright And Academic Freedom
The Latest Product From Google
The planned filter against copyright infringement (see Alexa Veiga on Yahoo news) is a great opportunity for Google/YouTube.
PowerPoint Attack
Microsoft warns of PowerPoint attack (see Slashdot or security.itworld.com).
It's Hard To Keep Pace
It's hard for the government (in any country of the world) to keep pace with Web X.0. So it's thrilling if Google will wake up the DOJ (see Rough Type). But frankly: who understand what's going on?
We Keep On Fighting
Kill-switching is not funny (see Russell Shaw on ZDNet) but we're in a war against the pirates.
In The Wisdom Of The Crowds We Trust
The Only-The-Crowds-Determines-Whats-Top-Model from Digg is great (Michael Arrington likes it - see CrunchNotes - unlike Nicholas Carr - see Rough Type).
But there may some counter-examples for the wisdom of the crowds.
Brave Men At ASCAP
I'm really proud of those brave men fighting for the Woodstock generation and their ideals (see Techdirt and The Oregonian).
The New VC Process
The VCs are complaining about the demise of the traditional venture model (see ZDNet). But look at YouTube who has just been aquired by Google (see TechCrunch): You just have to follow the new model.
Physical Rights Management
Finally the day has come that also the companies producing physical products are fighting for their rights to control their product even after they have got the money from the customer (see Techdirt and CL&P). Hopefully they will adopt the great rights management systems from the digital world.
Check Facts With Google
With the Martin-Luther-King-search-results (see Nicholas Carr) Google has shown its enormous abilities to prove political facts (see Techdirt and Reuters).
